It's a beautiful spring day in Finland but Seamus is spending it inside, in the legendary Finnvox studios. We're recording drums for our new songs. Finally things are picking up speed...

March 16th - Alive and Kicking

The Seamus pages have been so quiet for so long that one might think the whole band has died off. Goodness gracious no! We're back in business and just about to record the first singles of our upcoming album - which will be outstanding if you ask us... Wait and see.

Jan 27 - Back in business and off to Germany...

After a quiet autumn, Seamus has gathered the missing sheep and is back in business. We've been writing lots of new songs during the break, and now we're planning the third album. We'll let you know more as soon as we have some facts. But in the meanwhile, we're heading to Germany, Stuttgart to be exact, we're we have a few gigs, thanks to our friend Oli. Great! Let's see how Germany likes us...

Sep 14 - Small break and big plans

Seamus is taking a few months break from gigs. During this time we will be loading our guns and finishing our new songs so that come January we will be ready to take over the world and what not. All this taking-over-the-world-business will start in Stuttgart, Germany, in February. 'Til then, take care and so long...!

Aug 17 - A gig and a break

Next Friday Seamus will play the last gig of the year. One third of the band will spend their autumn abroad so Seamus will take a short break. Don't worry; we'll be back as strong as ever next year. But before that, come to Liberté to hear the gig. There will also be three other bands, one of them Leone, which also includes some familiar faces... Leone starts at 9 and Seamus 9.45, so don't be late.

Unfortunately the gig in On The Rocks that we were supposed to do in May is cancelled! Sorry. We'll try to arrange something somewhere instead...

Nov 11 - Shirts! Bags!

The absolutely fabulous new Seamus shirts and bags have arrived! See pictures in our Myspace. You can order yours through e-mail (seamus@seamus.fi). We have black and red shirts: regular T-shirts and girlie fit shirts, in sizes S-XL. Bags we have in black and white, white with long and short handles, black only with long. Prices: shirt 12 euros, bag 5 euros plus mailing costs 2 euros in Finland, elsewhere case by case. Get yours before we run out!

Oct 29 - New gigs

First of all, thanks to everyone, who came to Semifinal. Magnificent! We have finally confirmed some gigs around the release of the upcoming album; one in Helsinki, one in Loimaa - well, of course!

Long time no gigs... But finally Seamus is performing at Semifinal on Wednesday. The Blonde Brunettes will start at 9 and Seamus around 10. See you there!

Sep 29 - Welcome

Welcome to our new and improved web page. A lot has changed, the name of the band for example. We're Seamus now - got tired of being so Poor I guess. Also, the first single of our second album is out now. Check it out on our Myspace page or put pressure on radio stations to play it, YleX for example There are also rumours about a new video but we'll let you know more later...

In Studio

The recording session of the second album is on. You can read the studio diary from our myspace blog. There is also some new pics. Including the new guys...

The schedule of the second album is evolving. We found the studio where we want to record the album and we have agreed to start the session at the end of May.

Second album

Seamus is now rehearsing the songs for the second album. Most of the songs are starting to be in really great shape and we are planning to go to the studios during this spring.

We have added Them Stars music video to our site. Starring Seamus himself. We are really proud of the video. You can also see it and listen to some of our songs from our MySpace site. The video is also playing in Voice music television.

Them Stars single on Top 30 list

The second single release, Them Stars, has been a few weeks on the Top 30 list in radio SuomiPop. Now the song is on the third position. Go vote for Seamus to the top. SuomiPop Top 30 (choose the song from the drop down menu and press 'lähetä' button)

The second single from Poor Seamus has been released to radios in Finland. The album will be released on September 13th.

On its second week Home of the owl is still on singles chart, this time on the 11th place. Rock'n'roll!

This news is starting to repeat itself. The single will be in stores March 22nd. But music distributers on internet will sell it in mp3 format starting from March 15th.
